About Innovative Education Services

What is Innovative Education Services (IES)?

We are a nonprofit management company that oversees the whole network of IES charter schools based in West Michigan. Our schools are driven by their shared vision of embracing innovation and meeting the unique needs of each of our students.

Our Mission: Empowerment Through Education

We are dedicated to nurturing a global community of learners and leaders while fostering an environment of innovation. Through collaboration, we are committed to providing high-quality education that meets learners where they are. We encourage academic excellence, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth using a whole person approach. We strive to instill the value of stewardship and the importance of working together to achieve common goals, preparing everyone to be an agent of change both locally and globally.

Student Culture & Benefits

Our network of schools all operate on a “Culture of Caring.” We prioritize proactive staff training and encourage students to help design what a Culture of Caring looks and feels like on each campus. Our goal is to create a socially and emotionally supportive environment for learning.

We embrace uniqueness, collaboration and stewardship. We hope our students carry this with them to communities outside of school, always considering, “How do my words and actions make people feel?”

About Charter Schools & State Standards
